Update 6 Sep 2026 @ 1500z: Yesterday Gerry tried QO-100 from his present QTH, but it wasn't possible. Today he moved to the QTH used on the previous visit, but he is experiencing techincal issues preventing him to reach the sat. However, he was clear "Not given up yet as regards QO100".

Gerry, G3WIP (QO-100 Dx Club #288) finished another tour of duty in the Falkland Is. and, on the return to the UK, he will do a stop over on Ascencion Is. (II22) where he plans to be QRV as ZD8GB for 3 days, starting tomorrow 5 Sept 2026.

He operates mostly SSB mode, but he will try FT8/4 for the first time via QO-100. 

Beside QO-100 he will also operate HF bands.
