Update 13 March 2026 @ 20:45z: Bad news from Bodo "I just tried for almost 2h to be QRV for last time from 5N.

Yesterday it was raining very hard here and some of my equipment was underwater. I dried everything all day long and wanted to be QRV tonight.

Unfortunately, I do not get any signal anymore. Sorry for all that were still waiting for me. I wont be QRV anymore.

Something died. Without measurement instuments here I cannot say what is wrong." 

Update 12 March 2026 @ 22.00z:  

"1110 QSOs have been done under 5N7QBR.  I had been very busy last days and I had to postpone my flight back. 

I will be QRV again in SSB Friday 13th (around 19...21z).  I will also let FT8 run in the evening and possibly Saturday morning (around 6-7z).
 
It is possible that I might have to postpone my flight back again, but at the moment these will be the last times I am QRV on QO-100."

Update 5 March 2026 @ 13.00z:

Bodo informs "I will be QRV in the early morning and evenings after work.

I don’t have a fixed schedule, sometimes I work longer or we have heavy traffic and need long time to get back to hotel. 

I have sometimes a black out. Even if it lasts only 1min, it takes me quite some time to be back on air because my 10MHz GPSDO needs quite long to synch."

Update 2 March 2026 @ 09.30z: Message from Bodo "I arrived in Abuja. Unfortunately my luggage with the QO100 equipment didn’t arrive. It shall arrive on Tuesday evening. Might be QRV starting Wed."

Bodo, DF8DX will be on a business trip to Nigeria between 1 - 10 March 2026 where he expects to be QRV as 5N7QBR.

Please note that this is not a DXpedition. Beside QO-100 he also plans to operate HF (including a participation on ARRL DX SSB contest).

All QSO will be uploaded to CLub Log. QSLs are welcome via LoTW, direct, or bureau.

OQRS will be opened at the end of the activity.
