YB Indonesia rover **Update #3**

2026-01-31

Update 23 Apr 2026: We receive the following info from Rul, YB1RQX:

"Due to time matching between the ferry and flight schedule - we finally choose Bintan Island as our meeting point, instead of Batam Island. Here is the new schedule as follows;

# YB1RET, YC1RIK will fly from Jakarta on May 12th and meet YB1RQX at Tanjung Pinang, Bintan Island.

# May 13th The team will depart by ferry from Bintan Island to the Dabo Singkep Island - OI29; The journey takes at least 5 hours and if everything is smooth, we might be able to QRV on 10:00 UTC.

# QRV dates will be from May 13th afternoon to May 16th 22:00 UTC (17th May - 05:00am Indonesia time/local time) - as we have pack and catch the ferry back to Tanjung Pinang - Bintan Island.

# WX is changed. Rain forecast is not really accurate, hence we need a different setup during the operation. We found a local guide and hopefully, able to help us while stay on the Island."
