QO-100 User Dinner

2025-06-10

"Dear Satellite enthusiasts,

Can you believe it’s already been almost a year since our last Meeting?

Time really flies in the world of amateur radio and satellite adventures! Whether you've been active with portable gear, experimenting with SDRs, or just enjoying daily QSOs via LEOs or QO-100 — it’s time to reconnect face-to-face with fellow operators who share the same passion for satellite communication.

We’re happy to announce that this year’s AMSAT-DL Meeting will take place on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at 7:00 PM CEST. We'll be gathering at a new restaurant near the HAM RADIO fairgrounds in Friedrichshafen. Unfortunately, the owner of last year’s venue has retired and the location is no longer in operation — but don’t worry, we’re currently finalizing a great alternative nearby. We’ll share the name and exact directions here as soon as everything is confirmed.

To help us organize with the restaurant properly, please let us know if you’re coming by voting in the poll below . Don’t forget to include your callsign and name. If you’re bringing someone along, please add them with a separate vote. We also welcome any comments below you may have!
Several Satellite enthusiasts and active Satellite rovers have already confirmed their attendance. We are especially excited to welcome KA9Q Phil , who will be our special guest speaker. You can look forward to an inspiring evening with satellite friends from all over, with plenty of time to mingle, discuss, share ideas and catching up with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned operator or just getting started – this evening is for you!

We’ll keep posting updates here as the date gets closer. If you have any questions or need to make changes to your RSVP, just drop Nina an email at DL2GRC@darc.de.

We can’t wait to see you again and spend a memorable evening together!
We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

Best 73s from your Organizing Team,
Nina DL2GRC, Matthias DD1US & Flo DF2ET"
