Update 26 Dec 2024 18.30z: Baris and Burcu had plan to operate during the return cruise, due to dock in Rio de Janeiro next Saturday 28 Dec 2024, but their cabins are on the wrong side of the ship. So, they regret to inform there is no further /MM operation.

Update 23 Dec 2024 12.00z: Baris and Burcu are now QRV as OH2UDS/MM and OH2CAV/MM on board a cruise ship, in route to Sao Salvador, where they are schedule to arrive 25 Dec 2024 early morning.

Update 20 Dec 2024 15.00z: From today, Baris and Burcu will be both QRV as PY2SAT/P.

Baris, OH2UDS/TA7W (QO-100 Dx Club #1192) and XYL Burcu OH2CAV/TA2NBA (QO-100 Dx Club #1289) are currently on Brazil where they plan to stay until 03 Jan 2025.

They are also planning  to visit amateur radio club stations and activate different grids via QO-100. Hopefully this activity will be a big promotion for QO-100 in Brasil.

Although they will try to match their working hours to European time as much as possible, you may find them also at very different hours. So watch out!

As always, they will operate on the frequency downlink 10489.777 MHz.

Their roving equipment is based on an ADALM-Pluto with a 15W PA and a 30cm dish with a POTY feed.
