Update 27 Jan 2025 08.00z: "Our Mt. Athos written amateur radio permit allows us to operate for 10 days which means that we will be on the air until 03 Feb 2025." TNX Florian DF2ET for the info.

To honor the 50th anniversary of the 1975 activation of Mt. Athos, the original organizers (Aris - SV1GA and Martti - OH2BH) were invited to return in company of Adrian - KO8SCA, Gabi - YO8WW and Niko - OH2GEK.

They are currently QRV as SV1GA/A using FT8 mode. The lenght of stay is yet unknown.
