Update 13 Jul 2024 21:00z: After a 3 day stop in Tromsø (to offload scientific samples, resupply the ship and exchange passengers/crew), the Polarstern is again on route to the Spistbergen waters.

It is due to return to Tromsø 6 Aug 2024 but in the meantime Andy is again QRV via QO-100. Today he was on JQ63 around 18.00z.

DP0POL/MM, the Research Vessel Polarstern is on the way to the Fram Strait (between Spitsbergen and Greenland) where the on board scientists are going to do their investigation work.

The current operator is Andy, DL3LRM and today he was QRV from JQ28.

Look for him in the evenings, as he will try to operate from as many grids as possible until the arrival in Tromsø 09 Jul 2024.
