HamSatSA is sponsoring a ZS QO-100 QSO Party and the aim is promote contacts between radio amateurs from South Africa and the world using the QO-100 satellite.

The goal for stations from ZS is to make contacts to as many different countries as possible.

Note: This has been updated to 10489.870 – 10489.990 MHz to fall in line with the contest section of the QO-100 bandplan.

Scoring:

• ZS Stations – 1 point 
• DX Stations – 2 points

Bonus Points:

• +2 Points for every unique country worked
• +2 Bonus points for the longest distance between two stations
